Revenue Diversification PDF Print E-mail

Seeking new sources and combinations of funding is an ongoing process necessary for the survival of most nonprofits.  Very few nonprofits have adequate diversification to withstand large fluctuations in primary funding sources. Generally, revenue diversification is a component of strategic planning and is also linked to a community relations plan.

maze Many nonprofits contact consultants for "grant writing," believing that a one-time large infusion of new cash is equivalent to winning the lottery.  Usually much broader services are required, involving expansion or initiation of several types of fund raising.

We are highly skilled and successful in most major areas of funding diversification, including:

  • Revenue source identification report
  • Grant/contract procurement strategy
  • Comprehensive proposal development (grant writing)
  • Proposal review
  • Strategic planning or community relations component
  • Fund raising planning
  • Annual fund raising campaign
  • Proposal development or fund raising training
